Gwen Hitt

Gwen is a registered nurse with over 35 years of healthcare experience. She specializes in Medicare Part A reimbursement and documentation management and is considered a subject matter expert on issues related to the Prospective Payment System (PPS). She initially helped hospitals prepare for the implementation of PPS, assisted hospitals to understand the implications of peer review, and presently specializes in improving the quality of hospital documentation. She has a wide range of management and teaching experience and has focused on clinical documentation-related issues for well over 20 years in hospitals, including small rural community hospitals to large multi-system hospitals.

Sandra Musselwhite

Sandi is a registered nurse with over 20 years of clinical healthcare experience. She specializes in the teaching instruction of quality documentation and compliance issues. Her specific documentation experience has included functioning in the role of inpatient Documentation Specialist for a large, academic medical center to Lead Training Instructor for the QDS program. She has broad management, teaching and presentation experience and also has coordinated clinical research studies; specialized in clinical care management and has worked in a number of medical/surgical clinical areas.

Catherine O'Leary

Cari O'Leary is a registered nurse with over 20 years of healthcare experience. She specializes in DRG validation, documentation management and compliance issues surrounding Part A Medicare reimbursement. Her healthcare experience has included both acute and sub-acute healthcare delivery at several major academic centers; coordinating large clinical research trials for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), pharmaceutical companies and private physicians; and development of an ongoing healthcare project in Central America. She has worked as a Clinical Nurse Researcher; Clinical Manager and Clinical Nurse in Medical/Surgical Intensive Care.
